Amy Walstien is an attorney and government relations professional with Walstien Law + Consulting. Amy has spent over 15 years at the intersection of law and politics as an attorney, government relations professional, policy advisor, and legislative staffer. ¬¬¬ Known for developing subject-matter expertise in her lobbying subjects, Amy also develops strong relationships with legislators and is sought out by elected officials as a trusted advisor. Amy previously served as Executive Director of the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association and as the Director of Education & Workforce Development Policy and Elections for the Minnesota Chamber of Chamber. Amy has also worked for the Minnesota Department of Education, the Minnesota Department of Labor, and the Minnesota State Senate. Amy currently serves on the boards of the Jewish Community Relations Council, TwinWest Chamber Foundation, and MN Excellence in Public Service Series.
Amy received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from College of St. Benedict magna cum laude (2000) and is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law (2004). Amy currently resides in Plymouth with her husband and two children.
