Joan Dunfey is an instructor at Lesley University in the
Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, MA. Ms. Dunfey
teaches "Integrating Technology into the Language
Arts Curriculum" for Lesley's Technology in Education
program.
Ms.
Dunfey was formerly the project director for the start-up
phase of the WGBH Teacher Center and program manager for
a CAST research technology study on the use of telecommunications
in education. Ms. Dunfey has done educational design work
for a number of web sites and software companies. Ms.
Dunfey is the author of numerous magazine articles and
has contributed a chapter to "Computers in English
and the Language Arts," an NCTE publication.
Ms.
Dunfey is currently an educational consultant specializing
in technology and language arts curriculum for many school
systems and technical education centers.
